The Importance of Ham Radio Telecommunication in Railway Safety and Security

Ham radio, also known as amateur radio, is a form of non-commercial communication conducted by licensed operators using designated radio frequencies. While its primary use is for personal, educational, and experimental communication, ham radio plays a crucial role in enhancing railway safety and security, particularly in emergencies and in areas where conventional communication systems are insufficient or absent.
